Located in Beigou village at the foot of the Great Wall, Huairou District, Beijing, the meaning of sanshe seems to be much broader than its literal meaning. It is an extension building of a new rural Resort Hotel, reflecting the increasingly active and urbanized way of communication rising in the countryside, perfectly integrating different lifestyles. It is an unprecedented cultural renaissance, suggesting that China‘s rural areas are beginning to be divided like cities. Or is it just a dining space? As a space, the "give and take" is characterized by ambiguity. Its potential properties may go far beyond its own design intent. At present, China is in the period of cultural transformation, so the position and value of "giving up" has not been clear and has unlimited potential.

On the surface, it is a restaurant rebuilt and transformed from the kitchen of a farmer‘s residence, providing the traditional hot pot that best represents the old Beijing culture. However, it presents a unique geographical location, historical background, design style and construction method, and the previous names do not seem to accurately reflect these characteristics unless a very general name is used. It contains six different spatial functions, which can accommodate all kinds of activities. These spatial functions can be independent and unrelated in spirit and form at the same time.
